How you can help people get online
Are you helping a friend or family member to get online or would you like to help people get online in your community?

In 2010, 34% of adults in Wales were classed as ‘digitally excluded’*. This means that they did not go online or use the internet at all.
It's true that in some cases this is out of choice, that people don't see the benefit or the need, or that they are a little worried about privacy and security.
Communities 2.0 can provide free assistance** to your community to help people get online. We can provide trainers for taster sessions and more formal training sessions.
We want to help breakdown those barriers - to show people that getting online can be extremely useful in many ways. We can show people how to stay safe online and also how to set up and look after their computers and other devices.
We also provide advice on this website for those who would like to get their parents, friends or other family members online and aren’t sure where to start.
